]]><![CDATA[Our spiced pear french "75"]]>Fri, 24 Sep 2021 22:32:20 GMThttp://culinairecatering.com/happenings/our-spiced-pear-french-75A perennial favorite! Our signature Spiced Pear French 75 and corresponding mocktail alternative start a special event off with refinement and seasonal flair.

Our spiced pear french "75"

Makes 1 cocktail, have all ingredients chilled.

In a flute or coupe glass, add:

1 oz gin
½ oz St. George Spiced Pear Liqueur
¼ oz fresh lemon juice
Dash Turbinado simple syrup

Then add: approx. 3 oz Champagne, enough to fill the glass.
Garnish with pear slice and/or lemon peel

Non-alcoholic spiced pear french "75"

Makes 1 cocktail, have all ingredients chilled.

In a flute or coupe glass, add:

¼ oz fresh lemon juice
½ oz Monin Cinnamon Syrup

Then add: Whole Foods Apple-Pear-Ginger Italian Soda,
enough to fill the glass.
Garnish with pear slice, lemon peel as desired.

YES, this was an actual question recently posed by a client. The occasion, a multi-course seated dinner with world-class wines at a private venue, which was planned to celebrated the retirement of a top-level executive with Hines Interests, who, years ago, had overseen the Disney Concert Hall project. The Frank Gehry-designed architectural landmark was faithfully evoked in the form of a first-course salad for thirty-six lucky guests.
